Just your appetite for food and learning! We will provide all food and equipment necessary to prepare the meal, as well as printed recipe handouts.

We ask that you wear comfortable, casual clothing and flat, comfortable shoes. If you are taking a Hands-On class, please do not wear open toed shoes or sandals.

Yes! In an Demonstration class, the chef will prepare generous tastings of everything that is on the class menu. In a Hands-On class, you will be working together with the chef to cook and taste everything on the menu.

Our students rarely go away hungry! You may be served tastings one at a time, or all at once at the end of class depending on the chef’s menu. The cost of the class includes a tasting of everything prepared, along with a glass of wine that is served with the meal.

We understand that there are a number of people with allergies to certain foods.  While we will try to accommodate you to the best of our ability, please understand that our chefs spend weeks preparing their menus and logistics for their classes, and it is very difficult for them to change their plan at the last minute.  Please also know that we have one kitchen, and a variety of food items may come in contact with each other.  If you have a specific food allergy, please call us at least one week before class and we would be happy to see if there are any possibilities to accommodate you.

Our classes are intended for all levels of students, from beginners to experts. In every class, you will learn the recipes from the menu for that day as well as many more tips and techniques for everyday cooking.

Class length varies depending on the subject, class style, and menu. Typically, classes are two hours in length. If any class is scheduled to last 3 hours or more, we will highlight it in the class listing.

Classes will start promptly at the time scheduled, so we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class or come early to shop!

Yes! We have classes for both kids and teens, and tailor the instruction to the age group. We offer a variety of classes that are sure to help them build lifelong kitchen and cooking skills in a fun learning environment.

• Kids: Kids cooking classes are limited to children between the ages of 10 to 13.
• Teens: Our teen classes are limited to the ages of 14 to 18.

Online payment via credit card is secure, fast, easy and will guarantee that your registration is processed immediately.

We understand that life happens and emergencies do occur. However, we also hope you understand our commitment to all of our students and the preparation that goes into creating a successful class. For this reason, we ask that if you are unable to attend a class, you must notify us 7 days in advance of the scheduled class time to receive a refund or credit towards another class. Within 7 days of a class, all cancellations are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a scheduled class, we encourage you to send someone in your place. In this case, please call ahead and notify us of the participant change.

If for any reason Casa Di Mazzaro needs to cancel or reschedule a class, you will be notified 24 hours prior to the class and given the option of attending the rescheduled class, credit for another class, or a full refund. We reserve the right to cancel classes due to chef illness or insufficient enrollment, and will give you 24 hours of notice if this is the case. If we cancel a class due to inclement weather, we will notify you as soon as that decision is made and fully refund your registration; but if we hold a class, there will be no refunds due to the weather.

Just come in the store or contact our Event Manager, Cindy, at 727-321-8500. Our calendar books up quickly, so please call now to reserve the date for your event. We do ask for a deposit of 50% of the class cost to reserve the date for you. The deposit is refundable if you need to cancel and do so at least one month in advance of the class date.
